Location Sound

Brett is an award-winning Location Sound Recordist trusted to capture clean, reliable production audio in demanding and unpredictable environments. With extensive experience in documentary, natural history, travel, TVC, film, reality and ENG, he works with a calm, proactive approach and integrates seamlessly into a crew of any size.
 

Drone Operations

A CASA-certified Drone Pilot since 2016, Brett operates DJI and FPV platforms to deliver cinematic aerial coverage across a wide range of productions. Brett is known for his fantastic 'aerial eye' and precise + professional drone control. Recently granted his OONP instrument as a part of his ReOC, SolidStayt is now authorised to fly in close proximity to people under approved conditions — unlocking new creative possibilities.
 

Dual Role Capability

Available in either capacity, Brett can also operate in a dual-role position where appropriate — particularly beneficial for documentary and lean-location productions. A reduced on-location footprint, streamlined logistics, and a unified understanding of both sound and aerial storytelling allow productions to move efficiently without compromising standards.
 

Based in Perth, Western Australia, with 4WD capability for remote access, SolidStayt is ready for deployment locally, interstate or internationally at short notice.
